In 2015, Linda Shirley Robertson, Lainie Andrew, and Jerry Stocks met for three sessions in Beaufort, SC knowing that they wanted to form an organization that would be a learning experience for all the members.

Jerry named the organization and wrote a set of simple bylaws. Lainie procured a meeting place for us, and Linda cheered us on while having to be on oxygen around the clock. On October 17, 2016 Lainie succumbed to cancer, at her home in Beaufort, surrounded by her family.

The organizational meeting with twelve members took place on Jan. 12, 2016. Lainie was elected President and Jerry, Vice President. We did not need others officers to start. Jerry presented the first program in February, and the organization was officially launched.
