Stuart Heath called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.

The minutes of the October 10th meeting were approved.

Diane Gallagher presented her paper on “Copperheads” which I hated to miss but according to Stuart, it was “interesting and we learned a lot. I was unfamiliar with the term “Copperheads”, but now realize that there is another category of soldiers in the Civil War.” Sounded fascinating! Diane’s presentation was followed by a brief question and answer period.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 5:15.

The next regular meeting of the Sage Society will be held on Tuesday, January 9th at 4:00 pm in the OLLI classroom (room 124 of the USCB Sandstone building.)
