                       October 2021 Newsletter

Dear Sage Society Members,

We trust that everyone is well and eager to gather again.

Our long-awaited program by Mary Ann Mikell, The History of the Spanish Moss Trail, will be our first program of the fall on October 12th. You probably realize that there are continuing updates on this trail so Mary Ann’s program has an organic flair and I know she is ready to put some closure on the contents.

  FUTURE PROGRAMS

·       This moves Mosaics with Jerry Stocks to our November 9th meeting.

·       We do not meet in December and then January 11, 2022 will be our annual no-program business meeting.

·       February 8 we will have Rebecca Davenport’s program.

·       March 8 Barbara Hathaway will present, Bookmobiles: Libraries Coming to You.

·       April 12 is Donna Armer’s program.

·       May 10 is open!! (The Class of 2017, Diane Gallagher, Carla Marsh, and Melba Thomas are next in line so please let me know which one of you can do the May 10 program.)

We welcome Sandi Atkins to her first meeting as Secretary.  Thank you, Sandi for stepping into Geni Flower’s role.

Please remember to let me know if you should want to invite a guest.  Most likely there will be room, but space is a bit limited so knowing ahead is very helpful.
